Biography
Pilot
Janet performed a poem about Spokane at the Gaslight on the night that Archie and Imogene came to see Joel perform. The three, along with Midge, had already been waiting for quite a while when Janet came on, and the slow, repetitive nature of her performance finally gave Midge the impetus to seek information. Ultimately, Joel was called up immediately after Janet, and bombed spectacularly.
Ya Shivu v Bolshom Dome Na Kholme
A few days later, Janet was performing a poem about Spokane when Midge barged in, hot off the heels of losing her apartment, and stole the stage with some help from Susie. Despite Janet's displeasure at being so unceremoniously removed, she stuck around and watched Midge's set.
