Scripts
As part of this wiki project, I have made complete transcripts of every episode of the show, featuring time codes and character names for each line. I scraped the lines and their time codes from the subtitle files. This was very quick. I assigned the character names to the lines by rewatching the entire show and adding them manually. This was NOT quick, but it was a lot of fun. You can find the link to each of these transcripts on the episode list page, underneath the link to the episode itself.
The complete original scripts for every episode of the show are available for the public to read at the Writer's Guild Foundation Library. Unfortunately, they can only be accessed by visiting their facility in-person in Los Angeles, which is not a viable option for most people.
A couple of the original scripts have made their way online from various sources. A writer's draft of the Pilot from 2015 is available here and here. A production draft from 2016 also used to be available, but I cannot find any live links to it, and I cannot share my own copy of it without getting in trouble. The other script that is available is a production draft of the season 4 episode Everything is Bellmore, which was published as part of a Deadline article, and can be found here.
Additionally, some small excerpts of other scripts can be seen in Timothy Mendonça's scriptART Collection. Timothy worked as a crew member on the show, and has been creating works of sculpture and painting which incorporate fragments of scripts from productions he's worked on.
Music
A complete list of the identified music in each episode is available on each of the episode pages, along with YouTube links to the tracks when available. Information about official albums and singles affiliated with the show are listed below.
After each season, Amazon released an album compiling a handful of the best licensed and original songs from the season:
For Season 3, they released a second album made up entirely of original songs from the season:
Finally, there is this single, which was produced for the show but ultimately not included in it, and was later released on its own in support of charity:
Merchandise
Madly Marvelous: The Costumes of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is a hardcover coffee-table book by the show's costume designer, Donna Zakowska. The book contains behind-the-scenes information about the costume design and production process for the first three seasons of the show. It was published on November 30, 2021. It is available directly from Amazon here.
Hasbro published a Maisel-branded version of their board game LIFE, also available exclusively from Amazon here.
A number of soundtrack albums have also been released, but they have their own dedicated section elsewhere on this page.
Apart from that, there is nothing in the way of official merchandise for this show. However, you can usually find unofficial, artisanal merchandise for just about anything on open market platforms such as Etsy.

Deleted Scenes
Unfortunately, there are no deleted scenes which have been released in video form. However, there are a few cut scenes which we know certain details about, and even a few for which we have materials such as images and script excerpts. This section will be dedicated to compiling all such information.
S1E1 - Susie/Tracy
In the pilot episode, when Susie bails Midge out of jail and takes her to The Kettle of Fish Bar to convince her to be her client, there was an interaction between Susie and Tracy which was cut from the episode in post-production. Although it was her only scene in the pilot, Tracy does later appear in the final cut of the Season 1 finale.
We know about this scene because the script for the pilot has been released. You can find a transcript of the cut interaction here:
TRACY: Susie, great. Big hootenanny in Woodstock tomorrow. Feed my dog?
SUSIE: No.
TRACY: Use the fire escape window. I owe some rent.
SUSIE: No.
TRACY: Walk him twice a day. If he doesn’t want to walk, just carry him around the block like a baby.
SUSIE: Fuck no.
TRACY: I’ll see you in a week.
SUSIE: I’m not going to feed your dog!
MIDGE: I always wanted a dog.
SUSIE: Yeah? Well, you can have hers.

S3E8 - Dream Sequence
On October 14, 2023, series cinematographer M. David Mullen posted the following image and caption to his Instagram:
– Source: M. David Mullen on Instagram
A glimpse at footage never used — we shot a dream sequence once for “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” that was cut, I won’t describe the story point here but I liked the way dailies turned out.
To create a different look, I switched from Panavision Primos to their P-Vintage lenses, shot wide-open at f/1.4. Then I asked our colorist Steven Bodner at Picture Shop to create a diffusion effect rather than have me do it with filters. This was because half the shots in the dream (not this one) involved greenscreen and I couldn’t filter those, so a post diffusion would be more consistent across all the shots. We used double-wicked candles and hid an Astera NYX bulb on the table top, programmed with an orange color. We also hid another one on the back of Imogene’s chair to add more light on the rabbi. Midge’s face was lit with a Litemat as she turned around. Everything was quite dimmed down because I was shooting at f/1.4 and wanted the candle flames to expose brightly.
Besides colorist Steven Bodner, particular thanks here to gaffer Jenny Scarlata and focus-puller Anthony Cappello, plus our lovely cast!

Although Mullen did not reveal the episode that the sequence was intended for, there is additional evidence which is somewhat suggestive. The Rabbi on the left side of the image is portrayed by Elli, who would go on to play a Cantor in the fifth season. Elli's IMDb page lists him as an uncredited Rabbi in Season 3, Episode 8, even though there is plainly no appearance by a Rabbi in the finished episode. If this information is accurate, then the sequence likely connected to Midge's stated plan to get her old apartment (and old life) back using the money from the tour with Shy - a fantasy which is brutally cut short at the end of the episode when she is dumped on the tarmac by Shy.
S4E4 - Midge/Woman
On February 25, 2022, Cait Cortelyou posted to her Instagram that she filmed a scene for Season 4, Episode 4 which was not included in the final cut. The scene would have taken place at the lesbian bar where Midge takes Susie in an attempt to get her to open up about her sexuality. After Susie learns of Midge's intentions and storms off, enraged, a woman (Cortelyou) would have come up and tried to hit on Midge. Although the interaction was cut, Cortelyou is still listed in the credits, and can be seen in the background for a couple of frames in the finished episode.
S4E8 - Boise/Cop
– Source: Nick Kohn on Instagram
In a deleted scene from Season 4, Episode 8, Boise is interviewed by the cops in the aftermath of the raid. Some stills from the scene can be seen in an Instagram post by the lead cop’s actor, Nick Kohn, who is listed in the end credits despite not appearing in the final episode. The post included the following image and caption:
Never got a chance to post these from @maiseltv . This was my first time back on a set during the pandemic with my fearless leader JAIME JACOBS. What an amazing experience and got to work with some dear friends. And they custom made this vintage police coat for me. It was stunning. Thank you @eminate15 @cindytolan3133 Anne Davison, @samelhar and #amyshermanpalladino. Major thanks to my dear wife @marissakohn for ALL the self tapes. You’re my Marvelous Mrs. Marissa.

S5E5 - Clementine/Joel
Matthew Price, the production sound mixer for the show, is very active on the show's Reddit page. As the fifth season was airing, he shared quite a few behind-the-scenes tidbits, including the fact that Joel was originally scripted to marry Sister Clementine, the flirty nun in Season 5, Episode 5.
In response to a post speculating about whether Joel ever remarried, Price replied:
He married the cute nun, Clementine, in a script but it never made it into the show.
– Source: Matthew Price on Reddit
When another user asked if Joel really did that, Price replied:
He did and divorced her too.
– Source: Matthew Price on Reddit
In response to another comment, he clarified the context in which the information is presented:
It’s really just mentioned in passing when Midge asks him how the divorce is going. I guess they realized it would have opened a huge can of worms.
– Source: Matthew Price on Reddit
This seemingly implies that the marriage was referenced in dialogue either in the opening scene of Season 5, Episode 5, or in the temple scene in Season 5, Episode 6, and thus Charlotte Fountain-Jardim did not necessarily film any additional scenes left out of the final cut (although she may have).
S5E8 - Jane Jacobs
Matthew Price, the production sound mixer for the show, is very active on the show's Reddit page. As the fifth season was airing, he shared quite a few behind-the-scenes tidbits, including the fact that the Jane Jacobs scene in Season 5, Episode 8 originally included an interaction between Jacobs and Midge, which was not included in the final cut.
In response to a comment lamenting the fact that Jacobs returned to the show but did not acknowledge her prior interactions with Midge, Price replied:
A ittle secret: she said hi to her in the script and we actually filmed it but for some reason that I don’t know it didn’t make the edit.

Sketches
In January 2019, Saturday Night Live produced a parody sketch titled “The Raunchiest Miss Rita,” which drops the unruly character Miss Rita (Leslie Jones) into the world of the show. It features Rachel Brosnahan, who played Midge on the show, as well as the show's Gaslight Cafe set. It can be seen on the show's official YouTube channel.
In January 2020, The Late Late Show with James Corden produced a parody sketch titled “Marvel's Mrs. Maisel: Rachel Brosnahan Enters the Marvel Universe” which imagines what would happen if someone tried to make a crossover between The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It features Rachel Brosnahan, who played Midge on the show. It can be seen on the show's official YouTube channel.
