S1E5 - Introduces Midge before both of her first two bomb sets. He tells her that she sucks.

S2E1 - Jackie serves coffee to Geno Masters as he interviews Susie about Midge, and interjects a few times.
S2E3 - Jackie books an autoharp player, Clint Gowdy, in spite of Susie’s protests. He also lambasts her for sleeping in the Gaslight, which comes as a surprise to Midge.
S2E7 - Jackie is present at the Gaslight on Yom Kippur 1959, when Midge performs for a booker and recreates the events at break-fast earlier in the evening. After the set, Jackie clears out the lingering patrons and congratulates Midge.
S2E8 - Jackie helps Susie to pick out false plates to use for her and Midge’s road trip tomorrow, given that the car is technically stolen.
S2E9 - At the Gaslight, Jackie and the patrons present watch Midge performing on WNPO-TV’s 3rd annual Stop Arthritis & Rheumatism Telethon.
S2E10 - After a momentary bout of possibly intentional amnesia, Jackie remembers that he is a carpenter, and agrees to help fix up some of the broken-down chairs in the Gaslight. As he works, Sophie’s secretary calls to set up a meeting with Susie. Jackie tells her that she has to go, to make up for attacking Sophie behind Midge’s back at the telethon. He then successfully completes fixing a chair.
S3E1 - Jackie goes around to Susie’s apartment to prepare for his sublet, where he has an unpleasant encounter with Sophie Lennon. The two call Susie at the military base so Sophie can press Susie for an answer on her job offer.
S3E2 - Jackie gives Midge some words of encouragement after an underwhelming pre-tour Gaslight show.
S3E2 - Jackie moves in early to Susie’s apartment after only half-listening to the move-in date. He offers Susie some words of encouragement about her outfit as she heads out to a party at Shy’s.
S3E4 - Susie gets back to New York, and checks in to her apartment to find it completely changed. She praises Jackie for his stunning renovations.
S3E7 - Susie wakes up in the morning with Jackie and Chester, and reiterates her distress at having recently learned that Jackie sub-sub-let to Chester. After a moment, Sophie calls to thank Susie and notify her of the gift canaries she sent, much to the chagrin of Jackie (who has instituted a no-pets rule for the household) and Chester (who has just killed his cat in compliance with said policy).
S3E7 - Susie once again wakes up in the morning with Jackie and Chester, and receives a call from Tessie, who informs her that their mother’s condition has worsened and she must be put in a nursing home. A moment later, Junior swings by to collect a debt from Susie. She does not have enough money on hand, so she turns to Jackie, who turns to Chester, who turns to Coop to scrape up the cash.
S3E8 - Susie attempts to set the canaries free, but they stubbornly refuse to fly away. Jackie and Susie decide not to enlighten Chester to the fact that no, the hot water is not out again, it never existed in the first place. Tess calls to tell Susie that their mother is dead.
S3E8 - After losing big on a boxing match, Susie cries openly the moment she gets back to her apartment, in front of Jackie.
S4E3 - Susie gets home from the Wolford to find Nancy and Chester in her apartment, and the former informs her that Jackie died earlier that day.
S4E3 - Midge and Zelda go to Susie's apartment and help her to clean the place up as she grieves for Jackie. Chester sits in the corner, watching, and shares the history of deaths that apartment.
S4E3 - J.J. calls Susie at the Weissman apartment and tells her that he found a couple of boxes of Jackie's stuff at the Gaslight, and she agrees to pick them up later.
S4E3 - Susie visits the Gaslight to pick up several boxes of Jackie's stuff from J.J. On stage, a guitar duo performs, and Susie remarks that Jackie would have hated it. J.J. gives Susie the boxes, minus one slinky which he claims for himself and plays with in the background throughout the scene. Susie is surprised by several things she finds in the boxes, including an army dog-tag, a medal of honor, a bundle of love-letters from Darla, and a baseball signed by Babe Ruth.
S4E3 - Susie and Midge arrive at the chapel for Jackie's funeral service, and are shocked to find it empty aside from Nancy and Monsignor Armanno Ricci. Susie notices Chester in the packed Collins funeral across the hall, and angrily beckons him over. The Monsignor speaks a little about Jackie, what a devout and beloved church member he was (baffling Midge and Susie), then calls Susie up to speak. Angered by the fact that nobody showed up, Susie barges across the hall into the Collins service and hijacks it with an impassioned speech about the injustice of Jackie's death and her dawning realization of how little she really knew him.
S4E3 - Susie and Midge hold a wake for Jackie at the Gaslight. On stage, a trio of musicians play Jackie's favorite instrument, the Ocarina.
S5E6 - (Flashforward) At the Testi-Roastial of Susie in 1990, Midge provides a special surprise video message in which she reminisces about the good times as a bridge to reconciliation, including a mention of Jackie. Moments later, as Susie leaves, Stewart tells the room that they’re all expected to donate to the Jackie Dellapietra foundation, which is presumably a charity that Susie started in Jackie’s name.
Quotes & Dialogue
JACKIE: The next act up is a nice, clean-cut young man. Somebody your mother would love. He's a comedian. Give a big hand for Joel Maisel.
– S1E1
JACKIE: Next up, a lady fresh off some boat from somewhere: Janet Shaw
– S1E1
JACKIE: Thank you, Janet Shaw. Don’t need to go to Spokane now.
– S1E1
JACKIE: That was Deke Christian. I think. Who knows?
– S1E1
JACKIE: I don't like three guitars.
– S1E4
JACKIE: I like dog acts.
– S1E4
JACKIE: You can't just throw in a random off-topic “asshole.” An asshole has to be motivated.
– S1E6
JOEL: I'm a comedian. I'd like a slot tonight.
JACKIE: Sorry, pal. All full.
JOEL: You sure?
JACKIE: Just gave the last one to that guy… or that guy. I don't know. One of those guys got the last slot.
JOEL: What if I come back tonight just in case someone drops out?
JACKIE: That's a pretty fucking stupid idea.
JOEL: Okay. Then I'll try again tomorrow. And the next day, and the day after that because I am going to get a slot and I am going to get back up on that stage.
JACKIE: Cue the orchestra. What do I care? Come back whenever you want.
– S1E8
JACKIE: There's nothing technical about it. It's fucking stolen. I like Utah. They'll think you're Mormon and leave you alone. I mean, no one talks to Mormons unless they have to.
– S2E8
JACKIE: I think it's a piece of shit.
SUSIE: That's the eighth chair you said was a piece of shit.
JACKIE: I believe all eight are genuinely a piece of shit.
SUSIE: Jackie, we can't throw out every fucking chair. Now, just tell me, what can you fix and what can't you fix?
JACKIE: Fix?
SUSIE: Repair.
JACKIE: Me?
SUSIE: Yeah, you.
JACKIE: Who told you I can fix anything?
SUSIE: I thought you were a carpenter.
JACKIE: Who the fuck told you that?
SUSIE: Isn't that what you did before you worked here?
JACKIE: No! Oh, wait. Yes, I did. I am a carpenter.
SUSIE: So can you fix these?
JACKIE: Absolutely.
– S2E10
SUSIE: Wait! That was Sophie Lennon summoning me to her house. Can you believe that? After what Harry Drake did? After what she did to Midge? Is she crazy?
JACKIE: You got to go.
SUSIE: What do you mean, I got to go? No way.
JACKIE: You fucked up. You went off, you made things worse. Now you got to go eat some shit to make things right for Midge.
SUSIE: Midge wouldn't want me to eat shit.
JACKIE: Doesn't matter what she wants. You're the manager. You go to do what's best for your client.
SUSIE: I don't like this side of you, Jackie.
JACKIE: What side?
SUSIE: Rational. It's freaking me out.
JACKIE: Look, one thing I know about, even more than carpentry, and this is from personal experience - in life, sometimes you got to eat a whole lot of shit. Piles of it. More shit than you can imagine. If you took a pack of wolves with stomach issues, and locked them in your apartment for a month, and then came home with a spoon, that's the amount of shit I'm talking about.
SUSIE: Thank you for the vivid imagery.
JACKIE: Life is basically an all-you-can-eat shit show.
SUSIE: You're disgusting.
JACKIE: Yup, but I'm right. Hey, I fixed it. How the fuck do you like that?
– S2E10
JACKIE: You need drapes. The whole fucking street can watch you do whatever weird shit you do.
SUSIE: No drapes.
JACKIE: It's too sad. There's no feminine touch.
– S3E1
SUSIE: He's not my fucking husband!
JACKIE: I'm not her husband. Christ, my fucking heart.
SUSIE: Give me a fucking heart attack.
– S3E1
JACKIE: Okay, if you think multiple ocarinas playing at the same time is depressing, then you really should have gone to the fucking Bergman film.
– S3E2
SUSIE: Mm, my pleasure. Can't open the door with the bed down.
JACKIE: Can't put the bed up without you seeing me buck-fucking-naked. Quite the conundrum.
– S3E2
JACKIE: That's what happens when you tidy. Tidiness makes things look bigger.
– S3E4
SUSIE: Jackie, get that.
JACKIE: I'm not your maid.
SUSIE: Look in the mirror.
– S3E7
JACKIE: Somebody used the fondue pot for something other than fondue. Now, I'm not saying it was you, but it was fucking you.
– S3E8
NANCY: His final words were actually for you.
SUSIE: For me?
NANCY: I wrote them down so I wouldn't forget. “Susie: The guys are coming to sand the floor at noon. Be there to let them in. They're flaky, so fuck knows if they'll show… Remember, Monday's a holiday, so don't put the garbage out Sunday night. We already got one ticket from the city. If you're going to make spaghetti sauce, push the curtains back, because you splash a lot, and you can't get sauce out of that fabric. It's just too delicate.”
– S4E3
SUSIE: To Jackie - a man who didn't suffer fools gladly and thought everyone was a fool. A man whose love of ocarinas summed up his total lack of musical taste. A man who borrowed ten bucks from me the day before he died, because somehow, he knew. A man who knew how to drive me crazier than any person in this fucking world except you. A man who was… My friend.
