MIDGE: Try manning the Revlon counter on a Free Makeover Friday.
LOULA: Makeup counter?
MIDGE: Yup.
GINGER: You were in the show?
ENID: What's it like?
GINGER: I hear there's music.
ENID: And lunch breaks.
GINGER: And air.
MIDGE: It is all of that and more.
LOULA: Sounds like heaven.
MIDGE: It was.
GINGER: So, how come you landed here?
– S2E1
LOULA: B. Altman. Where may I direct your call? I will connect you. Enid.
ENID: B. Altman. Where may I direct your call? I will connect you. Doris.
DORIS: B. Altman. Where may I direct your call? I will connect you. Ginger.
GINGER: B. Altman. Where may I direct your call? I will connect you. Midge.
MIDGE: B. Altman. Where may I direct your call?
SUSIE: Right up your ass.
– S2E1
GINGER: Midge, you got another call. Some guy in a total panic.
– S2E1
GINGER: Hey. Oh, do you read?
MIDGE: Occasionally. B. Altman. Where may I direct your call? I will connect you.
GINGER: So, I'm looking through the Village Voice, just perusing the headlines, and look what I see.
MIDGE: Well, you need to turn it toward me so I can…
GINGER: “Susie Myerson, the manager of the underground phenom comedienne Mrs. Maisel, says she's gonna be bigger than Totie Fields.”
MIDGE: Wait, what are you read… Ah, sh**t. B. Altman. Where may I direct your call?
GINGER: Isn't that crazy? Mrs. Maisel? I mean, you're Mrs. Maisel.
MIDGE: Hold, please. Can I…?
GINGER: This comedian has the same name as you.
MIDGE: B. Altman. Where… Oh, sorry. I thought I did. I will connect you.
GINGER: The world is so small. I feel like I should be able to subway to China. Do you know her?
MIDGE: I don't think so. Is there a picture?
GINGER: No picture. You could be related. She could be your cousin. Or your mother. Is your mother a comedienne? Wouldn't that be a scandal?
MIDGE: Hmm.
GINGER: Oops. I guess all those flashing lights are for me.
– S2E2
MIDGE: You can't just go around talking to the press without telling me, Susie. That paper was just sitting there. At my work. If Ginger wasn't so… Ginger, she would've figured it out.
– S2E2
GINGER: You're back in the show!
– S2E3
GINGER: Midge, what happened? What are you doing down here? You were in the coat room, so close to the show. Midge!
– S2E3
GINGER: Drag.
– S2E3
GINGER: Midge, Midge, come, you have to come.
MIDGE: Where?
GINGER: There's a call for you at the switchboard. I tried to tell them you didn't work there anymore, but he wouldn't listen; he is just crazy to talk to you, right now, bitch. Sorry. That's what he kept saying over and over. “Right now, bitch.” Sorry. And then he got angry.
MIDGE: Oh, boy.
GINGER: He wasn't even talking to me, he was talking to Loula. I heard him through her headset. I swear to God, I've never- Oh, my God, this is the makeup counter. I'm actually here. Smells so good. Look at the light.
MIDGE: Come on, Ginger.
GINGER: And the windows. You have flowers. No one ever talked about the flowers. Do you hear that? Is that singing? It sounds like angels singing.
– S2E7
GINGER: She's Mrs. Maisel! Mrs. Maisel is Mrs. Maisel!
