Wolford Dancer
Biography
S4E8 - At the Wolford, an ensemble of dancers performs a series of simultaneous vignettes about domesticity in a dollhouse-style set, choreographed to the song “Femininity.” In the center middle, a man watches TV with a beer while a woman who appears to be his wife stares out the window. In the bottom middle, a man eats breakfast with a newspaper while a woman who appears to be his wife sits at the table with a look of disenchantment on her face. At the conclusion of the performance, the woman sitting at the breakfast table climbs a step-ladder up into the center middle vignette and stands next to the woman looking out the window. The two women stare into each other's eyes with smiles on their faces, and a red spotlight highlights them briefly, indicating a romantic connection. Shortly after the performance, the Wolford is raided by the police.
S5E1 - At the Wolford, Susie tries to convince Gordon Ford to hire Midge as the dancers (one of them in the Magnolia costume) perform the finale of the show.
