S4E7 - Midge meets Sylvio while he’s walking his dog and she’s taking Ethan to school. The two run into each other numerous more times, and Ethan plays with the dog while Midge flirts with Sylvio. Eventually, Midge goes home with him, but Sylvio’s wife barges in and discovers them, causing the dog to bark up a storm.

S5E2 - Sylvio spots Midge on the subway and chases her down to apologize. He explains the situation with him and his wife, and reveals that she took his dog and renamed him.

MIDGE: How is the dog?
SYLVIO: She took the dog.
MIDGE: What?
SYLVIO: And changed his name.
MIDGE: That's rotten.
