A guy in the park who Midge hooks up with briefly.

S4E7 - Meets Midge in the park while walking his dog, they have a brief fling, his ex-wife walks in on them and begins shouting. Midge loses her dress in the process, but Dinah later manages to get it back.

S5E2 - While riding the subway to her first day of work, Midge spots Sylvio in the opposite car. He is anxious to talk to her, to explain and apologize for what happened at his apartment, but Midge is determined to avoid him. A chase ensues, passing through several different trains and stations. During the chase, the two each stop in turn to briefly admire a particular woman's coat, Sylvio offends another woman by pushing past her on the stairs and insulting her and her friends for traveling side-by-side as they are, and is waylaid by a cop who spots him pursuing Midge. The situation with the cop is exacerbated by the offended woman from the stairs pitching in against him, but eventually he manages to catch up to Midge just as she is exiting the station, with the cop hot on his heels. He gets Midge to tell the cop to stand down, and he explains that the angry woman was his wife, but that they were already separated, and she was not supposed to show up to that apartment without giving prior notice. Midge extends an olive branch and asks about his dog, and he explains that his wife took the dog in the divorce and renamed him. Midge accepts his apology, and the two depart amicably. The cop, who has been watching the proceedings with growing amusement, makes a supportive comment towards Sylvio.

ANGRY WIFE: Oh, my God. Oh, my God! Are you goddamn kidding me?
SYLVIO: The hell are you doing here?
ANGRY WIFE: What am I doing here? Who is this? Some slut from the steno pool?
SYLVIO: She is not from the steno pool!

OFFENDED WOMAN: Rude!
SYLVIO: Me? You're the ones lined up like the offensive line of the Princeton Tigers.
– S5E2

SYLVIO: I messed up really bad. I put you in an awful situation.
MIDGE: Awful? It was more than awful.
SYLVIO: It was every synonym for awful, you choose.
– S5E2

SYLVIO: The marriage was over long before I met you. Look, Midge, meeting you, the talks we had, it was a lifesaver for me. But I'm not here to get you to reconsider. I just want to apologize.
– S5E2

SYLVIO: Well, maybe we'll run into each other there again, sometime.
MIDGE: Maybe.
SYLVIO: Maybe's good. I'll take maybe. Bye, Midge.
MIDGE: Goodbye, Sylvio.
COP: I'm rooting for you, son.
