Nude photo model for Playboy’s playmate of the month.

S3E1 - Lenny Bruce is arrested during a set when he shows a nude photo from Playboy of Miss December (whom he misnames as Miss September) in order to illustrate a point about the hypocrisy of institutionalized prudishness. Abe protests the arrests, and winds up being sent to jail with Lenny. In the holding cell, Abe can’t help but correct Lenny on his earlier misnaming, pointing out the Christmas wreath that was in the lower left corner.

S4E6 - When Lenny wakes up in the Weissman apartment, confused, Abe tries to explain who he is by making reference to Miss December, but this fails to clear things up.

LENNY: Uh… Okay, so I want to point out the “God made the body” paradox of the decent people who would object to this, uh, groovy-looking chick. Now, if I'm dressing, and I see that chick there, Miss September, across the way, I'm gonna look. But, see, in our society, it's pull down the shade and charge two bucks to get in. That's what repression does. The obscenity law, when everything else boils away, is does it appeal to the prurient interest? Well, I want to know what's wrong with appealing to the prurient interest! No, I really want the Supreme Court to stand up and tell me that fսcking is dirty and no good!

ABE: You misspoke, though.
LENNY: I'm sorry?
ABE: You called the woman Miss September. She was Miss December.
LENNY: Oh, yeah?
ABE: Yeah. There was a wreath in the lower left corner. I think you still made your point, though.

LENNY: I'm sorry, who are you?
ABE: Miss December.
LENNY: You look different.
ABE: It was the night you were talking about Miss December. We were in jail together.
LENNY: Well, I've been in jail with a variety of people.
