S1E4 - Lanie sneaks Susie and Midge into the Copa kitchen to see Red Skelton, in exchange for a prime spot at the Gaslight. Negotiations break down, however, and Susie and Midge are forced to leave abruptly.

SUSIE: I appreciate this, Lanie.
LANIE: Appreciate nothing. We have a deal.
SUSIE: Well, appreciation's a valuable commodity these days.
LANIE: Uh-uh. You promised me a prime spot at the Gaslight for two weeks if I got you in here.
SUSIE: Yeah…
LANIE: Yeah, what? You promised.
SUSIE: I know. I just… You're so terrible.
LANIE: That doesn't matter.
SUSIE: You really… You have no talent at all.
LANIE: I didn't ask for your opinion on my singing.
SUSIE: Oh, you're a singer? See, I just thought you had your sack caught in your zipper.
LANIE: Hey! I did you a favor here!
MIDGE: Susie, how about we save the constructive criticism for another time?
SUSIE: All right. Prime spot for two weeks. But practice. Do some scales, please. I am begging you.
LANIE: Okay. Come on. Wait here. I have to make sure my manager's not looking.
