Biography
S3E6 - Susie chats with Junior in the Stage Deli while listening to the Yankees game. He has to repeatedly remind her that they are not friends or allies.
S3E7 - Susie and Midge stop for lunch at the Hot Dog Habit while out doing a series of radio gigs. While Midge eats, Susie slips away and meets Junior to place bets on the Tigers, the Reds and the Cards for Saturday (despite the fact that the Reds and the Cards are playing each other).
S3E7 - Susie once again wakes up in the morning with Jackie and Chester, and receives a call from Tessie, who informs her that their mother’s condition has worsened and she must be put in a nursing home. A moment later, Junior swings by to collect a debt from Susie. She does not have enough money on hand, so she turns to Jackie, who turns to Chester, who turns to Coop to scrape up the cash.

SUSIE: Okay, so if you were to put 20 bucks that you really needed on the Yankees, what do you think? Seem like a good bet to you?
JUNIOR: It's not my job to advise.
SUSIE: Just between friends.
JUNIOR: We're not friends.

JUNIOR: I'd say you shouldn't be friends with your bookie.
SUSIE: Thanks.
JUNIOR: And maybe you should learn baseball. Just a tip, pal.
SUSIE: You ever worry people might not be so scared of you if they saw you drinking a liquidated tutu?

SUSIE: It's been two months. He should be rested by now. We need ketchup. Be right back. Saturday, nickel on the Tigers, a dime each on the Cards and the Reds.
JUNIOR: Cards and the Reds?
SUSIE: Yeah.
JUNIOR: You know they're playing each other.
SUSIE: I know.
JUNIOR: You're betting against yourself.
SUSIE: I got a system.
JUNIOR: Everyone's got a system.
SUSIE: Mine works.

SUSIE: Yeah.
JUNIOR: Well, if you were my friend, I would tell you that if you need a bucket brigade to cobble up scratch, it might be time to slow down the gambling a little. But you're not my friend.
