Gordon Ford Band

Trombonist for the Gordon Ford Show band.

Biography

S5E2 - On Midge's first day as a writer for The Gordon Ford Show, she watches as the band performs the Gordon Ford Show Main Theme, and Gordon comes out to do the monologue. This performer occupies his usual spot in the brass section: the fourth column of the back row, playing the trombone.

S5E3 - On the night that Midge first gets a joke into the show, the band performs the Gordon Ford Show Main Theme, and Gordon comes out to do the monologue. They are present as Gordon bungles Midge's joke, and she blurts out an embarrassingly loud noise in response. This performer occupies his usual spot in the brass section: the fourth column of the back row, playing the trombone.

S5E4 - The band plays the show back in from commercial as Gordon, lacking a better guest, reluctantly hosts Hart Buckley from the Zoo for a third segment - this one with Cooper the sloth. Before Gordon can get going, however, Sophie Lennon pops up next to the band and makes a surprise appearance on the show, orchestrated by Mike at the last minute. This performer occupies his usual spot in the brass section: the fourth column of the back row, playing the trombone.

S5E7 - The band performs Danny Stevens' intro as Midge speaks with Moishe and Shirley, who she invited to come watch. This performer occupies his usual spot in the brass section: the fourth column of the back row, playing the trombone.

S5E9 - The band performs the intro for a show featuring Alan Shepard, Carol Burnett, and a special “interview with a writer” segment designed to humiliate Midge, who had been led to believe she would be doing standup. The band performs the appropriate musical transition cues as the show unfolds, and they watch as Gordon’s attempt to humiliate Midge backfires and she hijacks the show with a very successful standup set. This performer occupies his usual spot in the brass section: the fourth column of the back row, playing the trombone.
