S1E7 - Dawes greets Midge as she visits Sophie Lennon’s place for the first time. He then takes her coat, assists Sophie to find the right room, serves tea and macaroons, and supplies Midge with a new coat.

S2E10 - Dawes greets Susie as she visits Sophie Lennon’s place for the first time. As she leaves, he gives her one of Sophie’s old coats.

S3E3 - Susie stops by Sophie's house and has an antagonistic interaction with Dawes. Jenkins assists him in his assault.

S3E5 - Dawes serves Sophie orange wedges during a rehearsal for Miss Julie.

S4E2 - Dawes serves Sophie her pills as Susie visits her in an asylum.

S4E4 - A destitute Sophie pleads with Susie to take her back, and mentions that Dawes left.

S4E6 - Dawes, once again employed by Sophie, fields a call from Susie, who is angry about all the gifts she’s been bombarded with by Sophie. Sophie is off-screen getting waxed, and Dawes conveys what sentiments Sophie is able to express between waxing-induced screams.

S4E6 - When Midge gets home, Sophie is waiting for her with a proposal. Before stating her purpose, Sophie offers Midge a refreshment, but Midge turns it down, leading Sophie to tell Dawes he can leave. This gives a good fright to Midge, who did not see him standing behind her.

DAWES: Miss Lennon was unhappy with your coat.
MIDGE: How should I get it back to her?
DAWES: She's worn it twice. It's yours now. Do you need a car?
MIDGE: No. Thank you, Dawes. This has been a gas.
DAWES: It has, miss. Good-bye.

DAWES: Do not concern yourself with returning the coat. Miss Lennon's worn it twice. Good-bye.

SOPHIE: Dawes?
DAWES: Yes, ma'am.
SOPHIE: I believe it's time for my pills.
DAWES: Your timing is impeccable, ma'am, as always.
– S4E2

SUSIE: Sophie, it's gotta stop now.
DAWES: It's not Miss Lennon.
SUSIE: Oh, goody. Humbert Humbert. Put your boss on.
DAWES: I'm afraid I can't. She's having her Roman wax.
SUSIE: Her what?
SOPHIE: (exclaims)
DAWES: It's the removal of hair from where it shouldn't be.
SOPHIE: Dawes, ask Susie how she liked the… (exclaims) Cadillac!
DAWES: Did you like the Cadillac?
SUSIE: Dawes, tell her I hate the Cadillac, the luggage stinks, and that there's no point in sending gifts, so just stop.
DAWES: Miss Lennon wants you to have them. That's the point of gifts.
SOPHIE: Oh, and ask her if she liked the Carava… (exclaims)
DAWES: She stopped a couple syllables short, but I believe she was inquiring about the Caravaggio.
SUSIE: Dawes, I have no idea what the fuck a Caravaggio is, but you tell that crazy woman we had a deal. I help her, and she goes the fuck away.
DAWES: She's objecting to your generosity.
SOPHIE: She got me the game show. Dawes, tell her that.
DAWES: She says…
SUSIE: All I did was get her on Gordon Ford. She got the game show herself. So she can take back her gifts and give them all to herself.
SOPHIE: Dawes, tell her I… (exclaims)
DAWES: Your guess is as good as mine on that one.
