Moms Mabley’s manager.

S3E8 - Midge arrives late to The Apollo. She pops into Shy's dressing room and says hello, but soon leaves when she realizes that Moms Mabley is on stage. Midge watches in awe from the wings as Moms kills, and is soon joined by Dede, Martha and Dawn, who clearly share in her admiration. As soon as Moms gets off, Midge approaches her and her manager Marcus to introduce herself. Marcus is extremely standoffish, believing Midge to be an unwelcome interloper, and despite an outwardly polite manner, Moms does her best to intimidate Midge as well. Shaken, Midge finds herself unable to go on, but Reggie gives her a pep talk and tells her to talk about Shy because it's a hometown crowd, which calms her a little.

MOMS: What is your name, sweetheart?
MIDGE: Midge Maisel. Mrs. Maisel, actually. Tha-That's my stage name.
MARCUS: Wait a minute, you're Mrs. Maisel?
MIDGE: Yes.
MARCUS: Are you kidding me? This is the girl opening for Shy tonight. She's the one that got your spot.
MIDGE: I did?
MARCUS: Yes, you did.
MOMS: Marcus.
MARCUS: She's Moms Mabley. You really think she should be opening for you?
MIDGE: She's not opening for me. I'm opening for Shy.
MARCUS: You got the prime spot, Shirley Temple. You can't read a program?
MIDGE: I didn't know there was a program.
MARCUS: I'm gonna talk to Shy. I'm gonna really talk to Shy.
MOMS: Oh, Marcus, hush now.
MARCUS: It's not right. Who the hell is this little white girl anyhow?
MOMS: Oh, Marcus, you back off now. That audience out there is gonna give her a tough enough time without you in her face. It was nice meeting you, Mrs. Maisel. Welcome to the Apollo.
