Telethon control room staff / radio recording staff.
S2E9 - Susie and Midge repeatedly enter the telethon control room uninvited in an attempt to forge a relationship, causing Dickie, Irene, Hank and Stan to become very irate. Despite their strong negative reactions, however, the four are eventually won over by Midge’s set, and they bid the two a warm farewell at the end of the night.
S3E7 - Midge performs commercials for Paramus Ford car dealership, Pall Mall cigarettes, a nylon sale at B. Altman's, and Bell Brothers Shoes, recorded by Dickie and Irene, who inform her that they have another slot in a few hours if she's available. Susie comments on how small the paycheck is, and Dickie explains that it's piecework - you have to do a lot to make a lot. Midge and Susie rush across the hall to studio B, where Midge plays a little girl in an ad for an ice cream business in the Bronx, recorded by Scott. As they leave, Dickie spots them and shouts at them for supporting his competition, but Susie spits his own words about piecework back at him. The two then rush across town to another studio, where Midge performs a commercial for Pursette tampons, recorded by Pat. After the recording, he informs them that compensation will not be given in money, but in product. They then rush back across town to Dickie and Irene's booth, where Midge performs alongside Johnny in an ad for Pete's Mortuary Services in Brooklyn. The owners, Pete and Edna Drummond, are present, and grow very displeased when Midge can't stop laughing during the recording. After a stop for lunch, Midge and Susie continue bouncing about between recording sessions. Midge does a Parker pens ad for Pat, a Fleishman's flowers ad for Scott, and a Toffenetti's restaurant ad for Dickie and Irene.
S3E7 - Midge performs a Karo Pancake Syrup ad, recorded by Thomason. After the recording, he informs her and Susie that compensation will not be given in money, but in product. The two then rush across town to the other recording studio, where Midge and Johnny perform an add for Ludlows Menswear, recorded by Dickie and Irene. After the recording, Dickie and Irene ask Midge and Johnny to come in the following evening for a live spot for Phyllis Schlafly.
S3E7 - Having learned of Phyllis Schlafly's horrifying views, Midge decides at the last minute to back out of performing the live spot for her, much to the chagrin of her co-star Johnny, the recording engineers Dickie and Irene, her manager Susie, and the Schlafly representative Roy. In a desperate scramble, Susie steps in and tries to do the ad in Midge's stead, but soon she too finds herself horrified and stops, leading Irene to rush up and finish it off, despite her own objections. Roy storms off, enraged.
