Another Man

Christopher Street passerby.

Determined to get Susie to open up about her love life, Midge goes down to Christopher Street to try and learn where she can find a lesbian bar. She stops at a park and tries to accost each passerby, but they all brusquely ignore her. The only people who even talk to her are a smartly-dressed man who initially does not understand what she's getting at, then quickly brushes her off when he does, and another man who calls her a cop.

MIDGE: Excuse me. I am looking for a bar where women like me can drink with other women like me. Or just women in general. They don't have to be like me. They just have to be…
ANOTHER MAN: You're a cop.
MIDGE: What? No, I'm not a cop. This is Dior!
