===== Quotes & Dialogue =====

> BOB: Midge, you look wonderful. I love that gown. Is that a Schiaparelli? \\ MIDGE: Oh, I'm sorry, Bob, but I've forgotten where I bought it. \\ BOB: You mind if I look at the label? \\ MIDGE: What does it say? \\ BOB: “Off limits.” \\ MIDGE: That's negotiable. \\ – S5E2

> BROOME: Bob Hope played here. Right on that stage. Milton Berle, been here twice. You know how much you'd have to pay to see Bob Hope at the Copacabana? \\ – S3E1

> MIDGE: That's the kind of fame I want. Where I never have to know who I am or where I'm going. Where one day Bob Hope walks up to me at a restaurant and says, “Hi, I'm Bob Hope. You probably don't remember meeting me,” and I say, “Of course I do. I'll have the chicken.” \\ – S5E9

===== Trivia =====

  * The clip of Midge performing at a USO show in Vietnam with Bob Hope is taken from a special performed on January 19, 1966. In the original clip, Carroll Baker is Hope's co-performer. In the show, Rachel Brosnahan's face and body were digitally overlaid on top of Baker, and she dubbed over her words. The original, unaltered performance can be seen [[https://youtu.be/UHh2NPCEDvA?feature=shared&t=2768|here]].
